CostPlus to provide PH with hydrogen fuel cell technology

Technology firm CostPlus Inc. will provide the Philippines with access to hydrogen fuel cell technology.

In a press release, the firm said this is a critical step towards achieving energy independence and reducing the nation’s carbon footprint.

During President Ferdinand ”Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’ state visit to India, CostPlus CEO Anand Mahtani formally signed a Letter of Intent, marking the start of a groundbreaking partnership that is focused on the introduction of advanced hydrogen fuel cell technology into the Philippine market.

The partnership will provide the country with state-of-the-art energy solutions to meet its growing demand for clean, renewable energy—particularly in off-grid communities.

“CostPlus Inc. has always been at the forefront of technological innovation, particularly in the field of renewable energy,” Mahtani said in a press release.

The firm also said the signing of the LOI ”further solidifies the Philippines’ commitment to share a vision for technological advancement and environmental sustainability.”

Further, CostPlus is constructing LED carbon batteries manufacturing facilities in the Philippines.
